As you move your hand toward the touchstone, its flitting, sparkling lights
suddenly dim, and it turns a cold, faintly luminescent black. Although you
try to pull back your hand, it is drawn inexorably towards the object, held
by a force of terrifying power. The closer your fingers approach, the
weaker you feel, as if your body were being drained of its very essence. A
dizziness overwhelms you, and you collapse, when your fingertips finally
make contact with the ice-cold touchstone. Death follows almost
immediately...
