After a break of three weeks, we return to find yet another previously top notch persona has disappeared from the number one position! In fact, if the Top 20 had been produced in the intervening time, Dirk would have been at the top each week. So why his disappearance? He attained wizhood last weekend! Congratulations Dirk! Among other players to disappear from the chart this week is Greybeard the mage (previously ranked number 3). It seems he had a deadly tussle with a trio of burly dwarfs. I've heard that he might have survived had he fled, rather than spend the last crucial moments of the fight debating with a tearoom-sitting warlock which wafer he should eat!

Talking of tearoom-sitting: Sonsie, last time's Fastest Climber, has made it to number 1 this week. Perhaps there is something in all that gossip you hear, Sonsie... well done, all the same! Dilly and Toto occupy the next couple of slots. Dilly has made a rise as equally speedy as Sonsie's since the 8th April chart, and Toto has continued to hang in despite several heated arguments with the dragon.

Laura slips only one place, but Sirkilalot has dropped 5 places down from last chart's hot shot number 2 to this week's lukewarm number 7. Zalagar and Iota are bother new to the Top 20, and arrive in positions 4 and 5 respectively, contributing to Laura and Sirkilalot's decline.

This week sees an unprecedented situation: four Fastest Climbers! I don't know what they're putting in the spring water now-a-days, but Sonsie, Dilly, Beermug and Joxer all lept 7 places up the chart. With all these climbers there have to be some fallers. Most unexpectedly, Sassenach and Angelmist both fall this week. Perhaps Sassenach is starting to find there is going to be a pay back for her "attack first, attack often" policy? Certainly Squiffy wasn't going to let her get away without reprisal...
