Congratulations to Sonsie! By keeping her grip on the number one spot for two consecutive weeks she's now spent 4 weeks (at one time or another) at the head of the chart. At number 2, Arcady is nudging away, but I'll let you know there's a long way for him to go before he'll be able to make that final leap from playing second fiddle to the top. Arcady was first seen in the Top 20 about 9 weeks ago; so, overall, he has been making spectacular progress. Well done Sonsie and Arcady!

Now, Sirkilalot? What can I say: I don't see enough of him to make up any decent stories, or let any of his gruesome secrets out of the bag. Sirkilalot was, in my mind, very able in the Land. However, since he made mage four or five months ago, I haven't seen him outside the tearoom. In fact, he's never stopped long enough for me even to have a chat. If you see him about, please do give him an encouraging slap on the back from me.

Beermug is making rapid progress. Climbing up 8 places from last week's number 13 he wins acknowledgement as the most recent Top 20 Fastest Climber. Talking about Beermug, I've been hearing that he's actually showing some promise in The Land. You may have noticed that Stonecold (last week's number 14) is absent from this week's roll of honour. Well... someone saw off Stonecold's axe-wielding advances with firm vigour. In fact, not only is Stonecold by name, now he's also Stonecold by nature. He's dead. Thanks to someone. Who? Well.. I couldn't say. However I do know that Beermug is playing a lot more capably these days than at the beginning of the year; a time when he firmly believed these kind of shenanigans offered his best opportunity for winning fights.

Rossetti, Laura, Noose, Keyser and Assin all shift a little, either up or down 1 place each. That stalwart Angelmist now, staggeringly, has been in the chart for a continuous 21 weeks; she stays firm this week at number 6. Hawumph takes advantage of Stonecold's absence and nips up 5 places from the very bottom of last week's chart.

This week's Highest New Entry is Sam, straight in over Hawumph's head, at number 14. Go Sam! Lilith, Azrael and Rainmaker are all new entries at the nether end of the chart. Good Luck to the newbie trio!
