Yet again last week's persona in the top spot has vanished from the latest chart. Sonsie tenaciously kept her lead at the top of the chart all week, until yesterday, when a skirmish with the wyvern nearly saw the end of her. Not intimidated by the wyvern's whacking Sonsie ploughed on, taking part in the early mobile bash yesterday evening. Sadly it was the bash that finally saw the mage toppled from the top when the vampire vanquished her. RIP Sonsie. In other deaths over the last week, Laura was done for by an animated skeleton, while Emmapeel the warlock and Johnsteed the guardian were both mangled by goblins.

With all this action bringing an end to promising high-lifes, one or two older and wiser personae have managed to make progress up the chart. In particular Toto the mage is now the mud2.com mortal with the highest score! Congratulations Toto; looks like he has defeated Lestat's efforts to snuff him out, while continuing to dodge the dragon's fiery breath (one of his previous problems). At the top end of this week's chart, Dilly is a non-mover at number 2; perhaps Dilly is biding time before making use of a suitably fattened Toto as a stepping stone on a quick dash to immortality?

Almost all players move up the chart this week. However, Petal slips down 3 places to number 18, falling below Angelmist who is herself making steady progress once more despite, as yet, not having completed a single task. This week's shining star, shooting up 6 places from last week's number 17 to this week's 11 and thereby grabbing the title of fastest climber, is Sassenach. Last week I wondered whether the game was up for her well-known offensive play policy but now it seems as if there may be no stopping her! Watch out mages, warlock on the way up!

Shortcake and Challenger have moved up four places a piece this week; but have kept their respective positions, Shortcake one place above the other. I wonder whether they're working together in a team? Tethys makes stonking progress also, zipping up to number 13 from last week's 18. However, if precedent is anything to go by in the Land, I fully expect to see him die in a valiant attempt to woo the queen dwarf with his daffodil before the week is out.

Mercury, Damned and Poledra all arrive at the nether region of the chart, ready to battle there way up! Welome to you all, and good luck! Keyser the warlock, this week's fourth and highest new entry, makes his mark zapping in at number 9, even higher than this week's fastest climber. Good work Keyser; you might want to experiment with /Set this time, though...
