Mithriel enjoys her second successive week at the top of the chart, thanks to the demise of Toto at hands of one of those nasty orcs that pop up from time to time. With Toto's departure, Sonsie moves up to number two, with Ophelia following very closely on her heels. At the time of writing this, there were less than 50 points separating the two of them.

After falling to number six last week, Deadwood has turned around and started to move in the right direction again, climbing back up to this week's number four.

A flying visit to the tearoom was enough to earn Florence the number five place on the chart, and to make her the leader of the group of warlocks all trying for magedom. These include Hawumph, who returns to the chart for the first time since the middle of July, Paradox, Quanta, Merlin, and Zalagar. Quanta also lays claim to the title of this week's highest new entry.

A new name to the chart, but a familiar name to many of you, Pepper makes her first showing on the top twenty this week. She has already been making new friends in the Land.

Elsewhere, Laura seems to have made friends with the touchstone again, and comes back in at number twelve. Angelmist has also recovered from her poor showing last week, to become this week's joint highest climber. She shares the title with Paradox, who has now been the highest climber for two weeks running.

Lower down the chart, Keyser and Tantrum make steady progress, while all the other spots are taken by new entries or re-entries. So we welcome back Archangel, and Hastur, and welcome Strife, Madoc, and the curiously named Muffinass.

With so many high-lifes copping their clogs in the last couple of weeks, it might be timely to remind you all how important it can be to find yourself a save hiding place in The Land. It's a lesson that Dreamy the champion learned the hard way last week...
